Beaten but not Broken

If the 1997 song for the election was 'Things can only get better' then the song for the 2009 KCC & Euro Elections must be 'Wipe out' - by the Beach Boys.
However The Labour Party goes on to continue our fight for justice, equality and a fair chance for all not just the privileged few. We can be proud of our KCC candidates - Marianna Poliszczuk (568 votes), Bruce Heald (603 votes) and Richard Coates (341 votes) who stood against the tidal wave of protest votes - beaten but not broken!!
The photo was taken at the Euro Count where our candidates were (cheerfully?!) supported by Patrick Coates and Margaret Rose from Maidstone and the Weald CLP.
